## What the control achieves

Gives everyone who builds, buys, operates or is overseen by AI systems the knowledge they need for their role, from general awareness to the specific skills of overseeing a high-risk system.

## How it is typically implemented

A training matrix maps roles to curricula: a short awareness module for all staff, deeper content for developers, product owners, procurement, legal and risk, and system-specific instruction for people who operate or oversee a particular deployment. Content covers how the systems work, their limits, the organisation's rules, the risks of over-reliance and how to raise concerns. Completion is tracked in the learning system, refreshers are scheduled and material is revised when systems, rules or incidents change. Contractors and partners who operate systems on the organisation's behalf are included.
