What is National Artificial Intelligence Strategy for Qatar 2019?
Developed by the Qatar Center for Artificial Intelligence and adopted by the government as the national strategy, the document sets out six pillars: education, data access, employment, business, research, and ethics. It provides recommendations for building an AI research and innovation ecosystem and for the responsible adoption of AI across society. A national AI committee was subsequently formed to develop an implementation plan.
Status note: The PDF loads from mcit.gov.qa, but the MCIT AI Committee web page returned HTTP 403/500 during verification. The 29 October 2019 adoption date is from QCRI/HBKU announcements rather than a loadable MCIT page, and the strategy PDF itself carries only the year 2019.
