Spain approves a draft law implementing the EU AI Act with mandatory AI-content labelling
What changed?
The Council of Ministers approved the preliminary draft law on the good use and governance of AI, allocating supervision to AESIA and sector authorities, setting national penalties and treating unlabelled AI-generated content as a serious infringement.
What does it mean in practice?
Companies operating in Spain should prepare labelling of synthetic content and expect AESIA as the main supervisor.
