Concerns UN General Assembly resolution 78/265 on safe, secure and trustworthy AI
Resolution A/RES/78/265, adopted by consensus with more than 120 co-sponsors, encourages states to promote trustworthy AI for sustainable development and to develop governance frameworks.
Non-binding, but it anchors AI governance in the UN system and led to the 2025 scientific panel and global dialogue.
